Northlight Studio started with a simple belief: the best photos happen when people forget the camera is there. Over the past decade we've photographed weddings in barns and ballrooms, graduations in the pouring rain, and community celebrations that ran past midnight — and every one taught us something about capturing real moments, not staged ones.
Today we're a small, dedicated team serving Minnesota and traveling nationwide, obsessed with honest light, genuine emotion, and galleries our clients actually look at years later.

A 25% non-refundable retainer secures your date, with the remaining balance due one week before your event. We accept card, bank transfer, and payment plans on request.
Travel within 30 miles of Minneapolis–St. Paul is included in every package. Beyond that, we charge a flat mileage rate, and we're happy to travel nationwide for weddings with advance notice.
You'll get a sneak peek within 48 hours of your event, and your full, professionally edited gallery within 10–14 business days for events, or up to 4 weeks for full wedding coverage.
Every package includes full personal print rights and high-resolution digital downloads — print them anywhere, share them anywhere.
We always have an indoor backup plan and come prepared with weather-safe gear. Rain has never once stopped a Northlight shoot — some of our favorite galleries were shot in the rain.
